Randy Thompson is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Building Damage Consultants. Randy handles complex insurance claims with precision and deep industry knowledge. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Orleans and his Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Southeastern Louisiana University.

After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, he began working for a disaster cleanup company. Later, he started a construction business, rebuilding homes damaged by natural disasters.

Randy became an insurance adjuster in 2010, handling disaster claims in various states. Over time, he took on more complex cases, including those involving lawsuits. In 2019, he founded Building Damage Consultants. He has worked on claims from hurricanes Laura, Delta, Zeta, and Ida. He expanded his services to include Property Damage Appraisals and Expert Witness Consulting.

Randy has been accepted in, and has testified as an expert, in State and Federal Court. He testifies on damage causation, claims adjusting, and property damage appraisals.

He ensures people and businesses get fair compensation for their losses. He has assisted hundreds of clients in optimizing insurance claims.
